PEGS INCLUDED: Includes five heavy duty metal pegs to track score, trump, and games won. Pegs are stored inside the scoreboard with a cork stopper.

HAND FINISHED: All boards are finished by hand through six stages of sandpaper ensuring a silky smooth surface. Sealed with three coats of aerosol based polyurethane for a lifetime of use.

GAME ORIGINS. Euchre originated from the Alsatian/German card game Juckerspiel, brought to America by German immigrants in the 19th century, becoming popular in the Midwest, particularly around the Great Lakes, with terms like "bower" (from German bauer, meaning farmer) reflecting its roots.
