TAK: A Beautiful Game

MATERIALS. Crafted in Walnut, Maple, and Padauk hardwood with MDF base for stability. Bottom is felted to protect table surfaces.
COMPONENTS. Includes inlaid playing board, 21 Walnut stones, 21 Maple stones, 1 Walnut capstone, 1 Maple capstone, and 2 burlap bags for storage.
CAPSTONE UPGRADE (Optional): Upgrade your Capstones to hand turned Maple and Walnut pieces. Upgraded Capstone diameter is approximately 1 1/4" with a height of 2 1/4". See drop-down for pricing.
DIMENSIONS. Overall board size of 9 1/4" x 9 1/4". Stones measure 1" x 1" x 3/8". Capstone diameter of approx. 1" with a height of 1 1/2".
SURFACE. Board accommodates both 5x5 games (on squares) and 6x6 games (on diamonds). Board surface is hand sanded to 2000 grit and finished with water based polyurethane aerosol for a smooth to the touch feel and appearance.
