DIMENSIONS: Designed to fit in a bag or backpack for when you need to whup your friends and family on the road. Measures approximately 7.25" x 3.75" x 1" (184mm x 95mm 25mm).
PEGS INCLUDED: Includes ten heavy duty metal pegs to track team score, and individual player bids. Pegs are stored inside the scoreboard with a cork stopper.
HAND FINISHED: All boards are finished by hand through six stages of sandpaper ensuring a silky smooth surface. Sealed with three coats of aerosol based polyurethane for a lifetime of use.
GAME ORIGIN. Spades was devised in the Midwest of the United States in the late 1930s. Bridge author, George Coffin ascertained that it originated in Cincinnati between 1937 and 1939. The game is descended from Whist and is closely related to Bridge, Pinochle and Euchre.
